How do I find out more?

The best thing is to book and come along to one of our weekly meetings and say hello, that way you'll get to meet some folks and see what we're all about. Or feel free to email info@edinburghkayak.com with any questions you have.

Do I need any kit?

No, the club owns enough kit to lend out and get you started. On busy nights at the lagoons we can be a bit short so please be patient. Kit hire costs £10 / £7 for waged / unwaged for a river trip or £15 / £10 for waged / unwaged for the lagoons. This should be booked beforehand through Bookwhen.

Does it matter if I've never paddled before?

Absolutely not, everyone has to start sometime.

How do I book in to a session?

You can find all of our events on Bookwhen and there you can book in to events that you wish to attend. You'll need to be a club member to book unless you are taking advantage of two taster sessions on offer for non-members at pool/pond sessions.

How do I become a club member?
