Stanley Trip

Updated: Sep 14, 2020

First club trip after lockdown!

I had a really fun day supporting paddlers on their return to the river after the enforced break.

After a couple of last minute cancellations, we were a small group - me, Claire and Chris. The weather was mostly warm and sunny, the river was a lovely level for finding wee bits to play on and challenge our skills which have been dormant for a while. And a great opportunity for me to begin to pick up my whitewater coaching again. Congratulations to Chris who did his first ever river roll in anger. So all our rolls were working fine (no swims).
