Tay Trip

Charlotte and I joined Derek's beginners trip on the Tay from Aberfeldy today along with Dmitrij. Charlotte and I were in a tandem canoe with Bear (our golden retriever) and made it down to the Grandtully get out without capsizing. We did have to empty the boat part way down as the water was trying to sink us! Dmitrij did very well ferry gliding and breaking in and out, today being his second river trip! Brilliant fun with Coffee and Cake at Tiso's on the way back. I thought Derek's coaching of breaking in and out was spot on and all in 19 seconds.
