Tweed Trip

Very enjoyable trip yesterday on a sunny River Tweed.

The trip was preceded by a pleasant walk along the river bank from Peebles swimming pool, where we left the cars, to Manor Bridge where we set off.

Although the river was low, there was enough flow to provide a gentle current for David, Beth and Adie to practice their moving water skills and enough depth for John to make his freestyle moves.

A lunch break was taken below Neidpath Castle and the trip concluded with everyone successfully shooting the weir.
